My work moves between AI, data governance, and social systems. I’m interested in how structure and meaning evolve when humans and machines learn together. This site is a record of the work, collaborations, and side investigations that follow from that curiosity.

Head of Data at Spec Kitty, a delivery control plane for AI-assisted software teams.

  • Analyzed traces and system data from AI coding agents.
  • Benchmarked the models and harnesses.
  • Turned findings into decisions the product team could act on.

Research Scientist

Research Scientist at Fraunhofer IAIS, in the NetMedia Department.

  • Engineered HPC-scale data pipelines for large language models, processing 703 TB of multilingual text across 24 languages in OpenGPT-X and EuroLingua.
  • Developed methods for dataset quality assurance, filtering, and reproducibility.
  • Coordinated AI governance and GDPR-compliant practices in TrustLLM and OpenFLaaS.
  • Fraunhofer lead in DKZ.2R (Data Reproducibility), organizing hackathons and reproducibility benchmarks.
  • Built agentic prototypes for federated and collaborative data workflows.
  • Project lead for Fraunhofer in the JUPITER AI Factory (€25M EuroHPC) and Archer evaluation campaigns.

  • Research collaborator on the AFORS project Trust Your Agent.
  • Developed frameworks combining hierarchical RL and communication models to improve human–AI trust and cooperation.

  • Collaborated on the MBDA Project (AI for Assisted Mission Planning).
  • Authored a technical report on multi-agent model-based reinforcement learning, demonstrating expertise in cooperative RL for mission planning.

Ph.D. in Computer Science

  • I succesfully defended my Ph.D. on the 6th of May 2024 (read more here)
  • I was part of the RoCoCo Lab at DIAG. I researched the role of communication in Reinforcement Learning under the supervision of Prof. Luca Iocchi.
  • I was enrolled in the University of Bayreuth as a Visiting Researcher for 6 months (04/2023 - 10/2023) under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Buschek.
  • Completed a 5 months (03/2022 - 08/2022) scientific visiting period at Amsterdam university under the supervision of Prof. Raquel Fernández in the ILLC.
2014 - 2017

Bachelor's Degree

B.S. of Computer and System Engineering with a track in Autonomous Systems

  • Graduated with 101/110 (GPA : 2.97) with my thesis titled “Comparison Between Segmentation Methods” under the supervision of Prof. Fiora Pirri.
  • Completed a 7 months (05/2017 - 01/2018) internship under the supervision of Luigi Freda on the TRADR European Project in the ALCOR Lab.
